Open Call
Open call for a collaborative YouTube playlist about water
Submission period: September 29-October 11, 2024
Screening period: October 13, 2024
Streaming Streams is an attempt to start a collaborative YouTube
playlist as an estuary of audio/visual stories about ‘natural’
bodies of water from every corner of the world—rivers, lakes,
swamps, glaciers, waterfalls, fjords, and seas.
We are pleased to present this as a collaborative, and most
importantly, growing artwork that enables anyone to contribute. This
format particularly fits the characteristic ‘the continuous flow’
found in both water and video streaming. This playlist creation also
challenges the idea about gathering resources, ownership, and the
risk of exploitation: matters too often found in issues around
water.
The playlist will be screened during the OFC: Office For Collectivities Exhibition at SKALA Gallery, Poznań, on October 13th,
and the playlist is open for public on YouTube from September 29th
to October 13th, 2024. Screening hours will be informed soon.
